About Teddy Bear
Teddy Bear is a 6-year-old, 83 lb mix with the looks of a Black Mouth Cur and Shepherd blend. He brings the best of both worlds: equally happy trotting around the neighborhood or stretched out dozing in the sun at home. Social and balanced by nature, Teddy fits right in with family life—he gets along with dogs, cats, and children, and his easygoing energy makes him a breeze to have around. A classic lounge hound, Teddy Bear loves naps and soaking up sunshine, but he’ll perk up instantly for a walk or a car ride—especially if it leads to a park or coffee stop. He’s reliable on leash, house trained, and enjoys the simple pleasure of being brushed. It’s not uncommon for Teddy to "talk" to you, letting you know his needs or just keeping you in the loop about his day. His affectionate, gentle personality shines through every interaction. Teddy is the loyal type who wants to be part of the family’s daily rhythm, content wherever you are—out exploring or relaxing at home. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment with great progress and will be good to go soon. Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, Teddy Bear is ready for someone looking for a loyal, easygoing, and fun companion in South Houston, TX.
