About Tigrena

Tigrena, a 3-year-old neutered male Domestic Shorthair, came into ACCT as an injured stray after being stuck in a car's undercarriage for hours. When he arrived, he had a superficial wound on his right forelimb and fur contaminated with motor oil, which required immediate medical attention. Since then, he's been treated with wound cleaning, antibiotics, pain medication, and careful monitoring. His injury is healing well, showing no signs of infection, and his e-collar has just been removed so he can groom himself. Medical staff will continue monitoring his progress. Tigrena is currently available for foster care as he recovers. In the shelter, he’s cautious and easily startled, but he’s never shown aggression. He does best with slow, gentle interactions and could benefit from a calm, quiet space to fully decompress. Staff have noticed he responds better if given plenty of space and time to settle. Since he’s still recovering, Tigrena is only available through foster or rescue at this time. Ready to help a deserving cat heal and feel safe again? Click apply to start the adoption process.
