About Skuppers

Skuppers is a fluffy little Pomeranian with a cautious heart but a clear desire to be close to his humans. At about a year old and weighing close to 10 pounds, he’s happiest as a gentle shadow by your side, quietly observing or cuddling close while you go about your day. Skuppers is slow to warm up, needing a patient adopter who understands shy dogs. He’s still learning about toys and what to do with them, but his curiosity is growing, especially outdoors where he enjoys sniffing and playtime with neighboring dogs. He’s not ready for leash walks yet and will need ongoing house-training, but he’s comfortable in his crate and enjoys the safety of a fenced yard where he can explore at his own pace. Skuppers has done well with young children and is happy sharing space with other friendly dogs, but he’ll need a home without cats. His gentle, loyal nature shines once he feels safe. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has received routine preventatives. Skuppers is waiting for someone willing to help him keep building confidence and trust—the kind of friendship that grows quietly but deeply. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
