Chibi is a young female Domestic Short Hair, about 2 years and 5 months old, currently in Gorham, ME. She’s a small cat who has been spayed, and although she manages a disability affecting her hind legs, she’s adapted well and uses pee pads instead of a litter box. Chibi gets along with other cats and brings a lot of playful energy to her environment.

About Chibi

Chibi came to the rescue after suffering from severe mistreatment. Though her tail was once broken and her back legs were weak, recent X-rays showed no fractures in her legs, and her tail healed without needing amputation. After three weeks of cage rest, she’s regained enough strength to play and race around with the other cats—even if her legs sometimes give out and send her into a tumble. Chibi uses pee pads instead of a litter box due to her disability, but that’s never gotten in the way of her affectionate, playful spirit. She gets along beautifully with other cats and has adjusted well despite her mobility challenges. If you’re looking for a special needs cat to love and care for, Chibi’s ready for a home that will give her just that. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
