About Cisco

Cisco is a young Rottweiler mix with a backstory that almost ended before it really began. Saved from a tough start alongside his siblings, he's just getting his shot at puppyhood and figuring out that people can mean comfort and care. Cisco comes in shy at first, which makes sense given his rough beginnings, but once he feels a bit of trust, his gentle nature comes through. Patience and some treats help him show his softer side, and he’s learning that good things—play, affection, a soft bed—now come his way. You're not getting a ready-made, confident pup with Cisco. What you are getting is a sweet work in progress who wants to believe that the world isn't as scary as it's been so far. He's looking for a family willing to keep building him up, helping him gain confidence, and giving him the care he missed as a tiny pup. Cisco is dog, cat, and kid friendly, and though he's not yet house trained, he's getting there. He has a medium tricolor coat that’s easy to manage, and like any young dog, he’s open to new experiences and learning. Cisco is in Houston, TX, but can be transported to many states if you’re a bit further afield. Start your journey together! Apply now.
