About Tiptoe
Meet Tiptoe. True to her name, Tiptoe moves slowly and carefully through the world and prefers doing things on her own terms. She grew up in a house with over a hundred cats and is only now starting to learn that humans can be safe and predictable. Tiptoe is an extremely sensitive and shy cat still working out how to trust people. Safe hidey spots are her favorite place, where she can keep watch from a comfortable distance. She's making quiet strides—food will bring her out, and she's brave enough for the occasional wand toy play session. If you watch closely, you'll see her personality blossom when nobody's around; she seeks out her brother, Winifred, and cuddles with him on the couch. Given a calm, quiet home with plenty of patience, Tiptoe's sweet side comes forward, little by little. Tiptoe doesn't look for attention or want to be petted just yet—she may never want that, and that's okay. She needs someone who truly understands shy cats and who can accept her where she's at. Patience, gentleness, and zero expectations are musts. With time and a reliable supply of Churu, Tiptoe will keep gaining confidence. She's already making progress in foster care, but her journey is just starting. She could be adopted with Winifred or as a solo cat, but would almost certainly benefit from the company of a confident feline friend. If your home is quiet and you’ve got room in your heart for the shy and gentle ones, Tiptoe could be the cat you're looking for. She is estimated to be a Lynx Point Siamese Mix and was born under the sign of Aquarius—you can expect an independent, quirky spirit. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
