About Kiwi
Kiwi is in a foster home and looking for his perfect match. He’s as cute and sweet as his name, with a loyal temperament and an easygoing nature. Kiwi is house trained, sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and loves staying close—he’ll happily follow you from room to room. About 18 months old and weighing around 10 lbs., Kiwi has a playful streak: nothing makes him happier than playing with a tennis ball, rolling in the grass, or soaking up the sun. Walks are a favorite activity, and he does well on a harness, enjoying the chance to sniff and explore. Kiwi responds well to gentle guidance and is motivated by treats and affection. He comes when called and enjoys chewing on a bully stick or Himalayan cheese chew. As for company, he’d be happy as an only dog but can do well with another dog after a slow introduction. Kiwi is fine with older kids and teens, though he needs more time to warm up to men. He can be a bit protective when cuddling but settles well with patience. He’s looking for a family ready to treasure him as much as he’ll treasure them. Please note, Kiwi is only available for adoption near the Chicagoland area. Ready to meet this loving companion?
