Cassandra
AvailableCassandra is a young, medium-sized mixed-breed dog—part Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler and Pit Bull Terrier—currently living in Tucson, AZ. In her time at the shelter, Cassandra has become increasingly affectionate and well-adjusted, ready to bring joy to a new family.
About Cassandra
Cassandra has truly transformed since arriving at the shelter. She came in wary and unsure of human touch, but these days she moves through life with a gentle confidence and open affection that wins over everyone she meets. Reliable routines and patient care have helped her blossom: now volunteers tell stories of her happily strolling lakeside, sniffing the breeze and calmly enjoying her surroundings. She loves being petted, seeks out snuggles, and is happy to stick close by a caring companion—her favorite moments are simple ones shared together. On group walks and in play yards, Cassandra’s spirit shines. She’s been kind and nurturing with a senior kennelmate, sharing her space without issue and offering nuzzles in between pets. Around other pups, she’s independent but polite—she’ll want to meet resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along. Cassandra’s progress so far is just the start; there’s no telling how much happiness she’ll bring to her new home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
