About Matcha
Matcha is a three-year-old Russian Blue cat who has already weathered more than her share of hard times. She was rescued from a tough spot, competing with wildlife for survival on a narrow strip of land in Miami. After she was brought to safety, Matcha underwent extensive dental care and now sports an adorable two-fang smile. She’s healthy again and ready for a new beginning. What Matcha wants most is a human to call her own. She’s happiest snuggled up next to you, purring and soaking up attention—her plush gray coat and round shape make every cuddle feel like you’ve got the softest teddy bear by your side. She’s quick to settle in a safe, quiet environment and rewards patience with deep devotion. Matcha is gentle, present, and affectionate, always happy to nap curled up in your lap. While she’s used to being around other cats and does well with calm, friendly kitties, she’d also be perfectly content as an only pet. She enjoys playtime—wand toys are a favorite—but ultimately just wants to be where you are. Her adjustment period can take a little time, but she blossoms into a loving and loyal companion. Matcha is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and house trained, and her adoption fee is sponsored. She’s being fostered just outside Miami and is ready for a real home. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
