Samba is a small, three-month-old neutered male Domestic Short Hair kitten in Minneapolis, MN. He’s house trained, loves to play, and gets along well with both other cats and children. Samba tested positive for FIV, so his adopter should be prepared for follow-up testing at six months. Full of kitten energy, this charming orange boy will liven up any household.

About Samba

Samba is a three-month-old whirlwind who has already racked up more nicknames than most cats do in a lifetime—Toasty, Orange Kitty, and reportedly, the fastest cat in town. He loves racing around, hiding, then darting out full speed when someone enters. Parkour comes naturally—jumping, flipping, chasing, and always working on his toy-fetching skills. Samba has big orange-cat energy and needs an equally playful feline friend in his new home. He's happy with humans of all ages but is definitely all about the action during playtime. Being picked up is not his thing unless he's ready for a nap. Samba did test positive for FIV, but because of his age and his mom’s status as an outdoor cat, there’s a chance it’s just residual antibodies. The adopter must agree to retest him at six months. FIV cats can and do live normal, healthy lives, and integration with other cats is possible in a stable household. Samba will be neutered on June 6 and can leave for his forever home five days later. As a little guy, he’ll need to go home with a kitten sibling or join another young, energetic cat who can match his pace. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
