About Story & Caspian
Story & Caspian are an inseparable pair of Chihuahuas who have only ever known life together. They come from a tough start in a breeder hoarding environment but have held onto their quiet bond through it all. Because of their unsocialized background, both are understandably shy around new people, so patience and a soft approach are key. Once they feel secure, Story & Caspian open up—they show gentle, affectionate personalities to those willing to move at their pace. Their foster home is introducing them to the rhythms of family life, and with each week, they're learning that humans can be kind and trustworthy. They do best in a calm household with a steady routine and someone willing to accept that progress will happen gradually, not overnight. Homes with children over 12 are best, as too much noise or fast movement would overwhelm them. Both dogs are great with other dogs and would be happiest in a peaceful environment where consistency and compassion rule the day. Open your heart to this bonded duo, and you’ll gain devoted companions whose love runs deep. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
