About Moon Pie
Moon Pie is a tiny pup with a big, sweet personality. She came out of a neglectful start, but you’d never guess it watching her lap up every ounce of kindness and comfort in her Tennessee foster home. She’s got an upbeat, sunny outlook—always greeting people of any age with her signature puppy sparkle. Moon Pie enjoys the company of other dogs, and would love a playful canine sidekick in her new home. Like some pups who’ve had to fend for themselves, she guards her food a bit around other dogs, but this is easy to manage with separate feeding. She hasn’t shown any trouble with people and her food, and is quick to adjust with loving guidance. Crate training is coming along well for her. She settles quickly and is getting the hang of being indoors, though full housetraining will take a little longer. Moon Pie also handled her first car ride without a hitch. You’ll notice her petite stature and slightly bowed front legs (possibly due to dwarfism, though she’s still growing)—making her stand out even among her siblings. She’s looking for a family that recognizes the work and joy of raising a puppy: training, time, and commitment to give her the start every dog deserves. She especially thrives with kids, loves other dogs, and even gets along with cats. You’ll get big laughs and endless sweetness in return. Moon Pie is a Capricorn, so expect a little determined streak in this adorable package. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
