Kit Kat
AvailableKit Kat is a 9 year, 5 month old neutered female domestic short hair living in Buhl, ID. She’s house trained and tested positive for FIV, so she requires a little extra care. She enjoys the comfort of indoor life and her gentle demeanor makes her an ideal companion for someone seeking a serene, low-key presence. With her medium size and tender demeanor, Kit Kat is looking for a peaceful forever home.
About Kit Kat
Kit Kat is a senior calico with a gentle, weathered spirit. After losing everything familiar—her home and her beloved human—she ended up in Magicats foster care. She’s safe now, but still adjusting to the idea that her story isn’t over. Most of her life was spent outdoors as an old porch kitty, so nobody knew if she’d want indoor life. Turns out, she loves it. A soft bed, steady meals, and true calm have brought peace to her days. Kit Kat enjoys being brushed and responds to quiet affection and kind words. She gravitates toward her cat tree for high-up views and a sense of security. You’ll often find her observing quietly from her perch, content simply knowing you’re nearby. Though not one for laps or fanfare, she brings a steady, soothing energy to any space. Kit Kat can be skittish at first, so she’s best in a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She’s a peaceful presence, never demanding, and easily makes a house feel softer. Diagnosed with FIV, she’d do best as an only cat, or possibly with another unassuming, mellow older cat. FIV isn’t casually spread, and cats with it can still live out long, happy lives. Kit Kat’s looking for someone patient—someone who’ll let her unfold on her own schedule and provide her the stability she’s missed. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!

Questions about Kit Kat
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Kit Kat, as a domestic short hair cat, typically thrives indoors with access to soft beds, cozy spots, and a calm atmosphere. She would feel safest in a quiet, stable home where she can settle in gradually.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Domestic short hair cats like Kit Kat don't require outdoor space and often adapt well—as she has—to indoor-only environments. She enjoys watching the world from her cat tree, so a good window perch is all she needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Kit Kat, being a sensitive adult domestic short hair, prefers a calm and predictable setting. While her breed can suit homes with gentle children, Kit Kat herself would do best in an adult-only home or around older, very respectful kids.
