About Astola
Astola is a large buff domestic long hair cat with a gentle, sweet nature. She first showed up as a stray at someone’s door and, after being cared for, surprised her caretaker by giving birth to five kittens just days after arriving. She later moved to a foster home where she raised her litter in safety. Eventually, Astola and one of her kittens, Kiawah, found a home together, but unfortunately they returned to the shelter when a household member developed allergies. None of this was due to any issue with Astola herself. She’s proven to be affectionate and loving throughout it all and now waits with Kiawah for a family ready to provide a stable, devoted home. She’s already spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Born on March 22, Astola is an Aries—curious, bold, and drawn to new beginnings.
