Wendell is a young male Shepherd/Pit Bull Terrier mix from Mason, MI. He’s about 5 months old, medium-sized, and has already been neutered. Wendell is still new to the family lifestyle after being rescued from a less-than-ideal background, and he’s looking for a patient home where he can learn how good life can be.

About Wendell

Wendell and his brother Linus came out of a tough hoarding background where unaltered dogs were left to breed uncontrolled. Right now, Wendell is still finding his footing and learning what it means to feel safe. At about 5 months old, he has lots to learn and is still open to new experiences, especially with patient families who understand young dogs. He’s some kind of shepherd and pit bull terrier mix: alert but a little cautious. A home with another dog could really help him come out of his shell and show Wendell the ropes. He’ll do best with adopters who can give him time and guidance while he gets comfortable being part of a family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
