About Leo
Leo is a lively border collie and lab mix living in Dalton, GA, weighing just under 70 lbs. Now 8 1/2 years old, he still comes with a spark and a real zest for life. Leo has spent over two years at the rescue and gets along wonderfully with other large dogs—his best friend Cubby is never far from his side, especially by the pond. Quick to learn, Leo follows sit, lie, and spin commands with ease. He needs a securely fenced yard as he’s a born explorer and his curiosity will carry him far if given the chance. Leo does not get along with small dogs or cats, so he’ll need a home without them. He’s looking for a family ready for an affectionate, clever companion who’s happiest with lots of room and canine pals his own size. Fun fact: Leo is an Aries, which makes sense for such an energetic spirit. Give him the fresh start he’s waited so long for. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
