About Venus
Venus weighs just under 70lbs and stands out as a steady, hopeful soul. At 8 years old, she still brings plenty of energy to outdoor adventures—especially pond walks and exploring new trails. Venus has spent plenty of time with other dogs and nearly always gets along well, especially with those who are calm and laid back. Her chocolate brown coat catches sun like polished stone. She’s now passed 500 days at the shelter, waiting patiently for the right family or even a solo adopter who lives for the outdoors. Venus would do well in a home with another mellow dog and with middle-aged kids who can appreciate her good nature—she’s friendly, resilient, and clearly enjoys being with people. This is a dog who wants to spend her time outside, nearby her people, and taking in the world. Venus was born June 26, which makes her a Cancer—a sign known for loyalty and warmth. Ready to spoil her and give her the adventure she deserves? Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
