About Snickers
Snickers is a resilient little soul with a gentle heart and a spark of curiosity that grows each day. He came from a large puppy mill case where life was hard, but since arriving at DeKalb Humane, Snickers has begun to blossom. Soft beds, kind hands, and the security of safety are all new to him. Every day, he pushes a bit farther out of his shell—sniffing toys, accepting treats, and leaning into gentle affection. He has a mild head bob due to neurological issues from his early life, but it’s just another part of Snickers’ unique charm. It doesn’t slow him down or hold him back. What really stands out is his sweet, affectionate nature: he eagerly seeks out attention and seems determined to trust. Snickers will thrive in a patient home with people who understand he may need time to settle in and continue building confidence. He has been through more than his share, but Snickers is ready for the love and stability every dog should know. The reward will be seeing him truly flourish.
