Hattie
AvailableHattie is a black Standard Poodle with a curly coat, currently in Chambersburg, PA. She is an adult female and has already been spayed and vaccinated. Hattie does not get along with other dogs or cats and has not lived with children. She will need regular grooming given her breed's coat type, and her adopter should be ready for a one-on-one, pet-free home.
About Hattie
Hattie came to the shelter after struggling to get along with other animals in her previous home. She’ll need to be the only pet, as she prefers not to be around dogs and has a strong prey drive with cats. Hattie is a little over a year old and weighs about 49 pounds. As a Standard Poodle, she’ll need regular grooming to keep her curly coat from matting. At first, Hattie can be shy with new people but she does warm up once she feels comfortable—especially if treats are involved. She enjoys walks and loves running in the play yard. Since Hattie hasn’t lived with children before, a quieter adult-only home may work best for her. She’s already spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and has tested negative for Heartworm/Lyme. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
