About Ava

Ava is a gorgeous, all-white mixed breed—part Husky—whose gentle confidence makes her easy to fall for. At about three and a half years old, her energy hovers between medium and high, shifting with her mood. Sweet by nature, Ava adapts well to her environment, even though she seems partly deaf. She picks up on certain high pitches and manages her world boldly, not letting her hearing loss slow her down. Cuddling is her favorite past-time, and she seeks out people for affection whenever she can. Ava is clean and tidy in her kennel, making it clear she values her space. She landed at the rescue as a stray already spayed and microchipped, but attempts to reconnect her with her prior family hit dead ends. She cannot live with cats, but would thrive in a family setting. Ava is searching for a second shot at a real home, where she’ll bring a whole lot of heart—and plenty of fluff—to her new people. Fun fact: born December 11, Ava is a Sagittarius, which might explain her playful and adventurous spirit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
