Garnet
AvailableGarnet is a small, male Domestic Short Hair kitten, only about 2 months old, and currently lives in Olney, IL. He’s vaccinated and full of youthful potential. Garnet is looking for a patient home able to nurture his gentle nature and help him grow with confidence.
About Garnet
Garnet is a young male kitten with a gentle, cautious spirit. He started his life outdoors in a cat colony, learning to get by from his feral mom before landing at the rescue center with his sister, Ruby. At just seven weeks old, everything about indoor living is new to him. He’s wary in busy settings and slow to warm up to people, but once Garnet feels safe, he’ll settle in for calm petting and soft affection. He’s at that prime age where consistent, careful handling makes a huge difference. A quiet, patient home would help him grow in confidence, especially if there’s another outgoing cat in the house to show him the ropes—bonus points if Ruby can come along. Garnet is ready for a fresh start and lifelong connection with someone who’ll guide him gently through the next part of his life. As a little Aries, Garnet is determined and curious at heart, even if he sometimes hides it. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
