About Hope
Hope’s journey began at a little gas station in the town of Hope, where her striking buff-and-orange coat first caught a volunteer’s eye. No longer having to fend for herself, Hope is settling into rescue life and searching for a calm, patient home where she can finally let her guard down. This gentle, somewhat shy cat needs time to warm up to new people and situations. She thrives in quiet spaces and blossoms with folks who can offer time, patience, and understanding. Hope gets along well with other calm cats and would likely appreciate a mellow feline friend to help her adjust. Busy or loud environments overwhelm her, so she’s best suited to a peaceful household without children. She isn’t the type to seek attention right away, but once you earn her trust, her sweet nature comes out. Giving Hope the chance to feel safe will turn into a lasting reward for the right adopter.
