About Max
Max is a small Chihuahua with a big story and an even bigger heart. Six weeks ago, he was recovering from a tough accident that left him with a broken pelvis—yet even through pain, his sweetness shone. Thanks to lots of rest and care, he’s now on the other side of his recovery and ready to get moving again. Max gets along well with the resident pups in his foster home, and he’s got house training down pat. He’s easy-going, entertains himself with chew toys, and keeps a laid-back routine, though he’s more than ready for the next chapter. Max enjoys being around people, especially if there’s action in the kitchen, and he has the right mix of playfulness and snuggly affection. His recent restrictions haven’t dampened his spirit—he’s simply waiting for a forever family to give him love and a bit of work (he will settle in best with folks who are committed to their pets for years to come). Could this love bug be your new best friend? Your new best friend is just one click away.
