Some dogs are lucky enough to know just one family their entire lives. For Bowser and Barry, everything changed when their elderly owner had to move and couldn't bring them along. Now, these two mixed-breed dogs are looking for a new place to call home. Bowser, at 11 years old, is poised and friendly. Despite her age, she’s energetic when it counts, full of calm, confidence, and gentle affection. She gets along well with kids, dogs, and even cats. She’s housebroken, walks well on leash, and has been treated for heartworm with strong results from recent senior bloodwork. Her teeth, coat, and overall health are in great shape. Barry, about 3, is Bowser’s faithful companion—playful, social, and affectionate but never pushy. He’s friendly with people and dogs, does fine with cats, is housebroken, and walks nicely on leash too. Both have the adaptable temperament mixed breeds are prized for and want nothing more than to belong again. They've shared a lifetime together and would thrive staying as a pair, though the rescue will consider separating them for the right families.
