Meet Cammie! Cammie is the mama of the dynamic duos litter. Gender: Female Current Age: 2 years old Current Weight: 40 lbs Breed: Mixed breed, possibly some bull terrier/shar pei/boxer Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Cat Friendly: Yes. Cammie stayed with a foster for a few weeks that had cats and she did well with them. Kid Friendly: Cammie doesn't live with kids in her foster home, but we don't think she would have a problem with kids. Apartment Friendly: No Fence Requirements: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: Cammie has not been crated due to taking care of her puppies, but she has not been destructive. Potty Trained: As long as Cammie can be let out every few hours, she won't have an acccident. If she's left longer than that, she might have an accident. Postpartum is rough for mama dogs too! Ideal Home / Adopter: Cammie is ALL about her people! This girl thrives on affection. She wants to be your bestie and will be by your side for as long as you'll let her. Cammie's ideal home would be with a family that will shower her with love and spend quality time with her. Cammie likes to be included in what's going on. Likes: Being pet, snuggling, praise. Cammie is very food motivated! She loves yummy treats and snacks. She also likes chew bones. Dislikes: Cammie does not like the vacuum. She has taken it upon herself to protect her humans when that loud, dog hair eating monster makes an appearance! Cammie is barky when she hears unknown noises outside in the backyard. Again, she has humans to protect! Cammie is very food motivated and we believe she could be trained pretty easily on this, using redirection and treats. What makes this dog special? Cammie was picked up as a stray in rural KY. She was very pregnant and gave birth to her 12 puppies in the shelter a few days later. Giving birth in a shelter is not ideal for so many reasons and we're sad Cammie didn't have any other option. A few days later Cammie and her puppies came to Rescuedohio. As soon as we met Cammie, it was obvious how sweet and friendly she was. Cammie was so happy to be in a cozy home and with people she knew would take care of her and her babies. Cammie has been nothing but sweet, affectionate and loving. She gets so excited to see her people. Her tail goes a mile a minute and her whole body wiggles! Adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, and the dog will be current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
