About Winnie
Winnie has the look of a cuddly stuffed animal and the gentle nature to match. She's a one-year-old, cream-colored Chow Chow with a storybook coat and a mellow, easygoing temperament. After losing her previous owner, she's been adjusting in foster care and her foster family can't say enough good things about her. Winnie is house trained and doesn't need crating, and the best part is how well she gets along with other dogs—she would likely enjoy a companion, but it's not required. Winnie's calm energy makes her an easy addition to most homes. She's affectionate and loves to snuggle, yet not overly demanding of attention or activity. When meeting new people, Winnie is friendly and relaxed. A home with adults or older kids would suit her best, as she prefers not to have her plush fur tugged on by little hands. She hasn't had close encounters with cats, but has seen them from a distance without any reaction, so a slow introduction could work well. Once fully grown and "fluffed out," she should weigh somewhere between 55 to 65 pounds. Winnie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and keeps current on preventatives. She’s ready for someone to fall for her loyal, affectionate personality. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Winnie

Winnie, as a Chow Chow, usually thrives in a relaxed household where she can bond closely with her people and enjoy a stable routine. She'll be most comfortable in a home that gives her space to unwind and plenty of affection.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chow Chows like Winnie do well with moderate outdoor access. A yard is nice but not mandatory, as their exercise needs are quite reasonable—daily walks and some playtime will be enough.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Winnie would do well in a home with older children who respect her space and coat. Chow Chows tend to be patient but might prefer quieter households without young kids who may tug on their fur.
