About Eevie
Eevie is a gentle Belgian Shepherd / Malinois with a soft spot for patient and understanding people. She tends to be cautious in new surroundings and takes a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, you'll see her sweet side come out. In the play yard, she started out frightened, choosing to stay close to her trusted handler for comfort. She isnāt quick to engage with strangers but, with a little time, her calm, affectionate nature begins to shine. Eevie stays quietly near those she feels safe with and doesnāt show aggression toward dogs nearbyāsheās proven to be gentle and non-reactive even around new canines. Past owners have shared that sheās respectful of fences and not a digger, making her a low-maintenance housemate. Sheās best suited to a calm, steady home with folks who respect that trust takes time for more sensitive dogs like her. Eevie is not comfortable with young children and needs adults willing to go at her pace. If youāre open to building trust slowly and want a loyal friend whoāll stick close once youāre in her circle, Eevie could be your match. Born on May 23, Eevie is a Geminiācurious and adaptable at heart. Sheās also eligible for the seniors-for-seniors adoption special for adopters 65+ years old.
