About Dominic
Dominic is a 15-pound Rat Terrier mix who was clearly born to snuggle. He has absolutely no sense of personal space, earning him the Velcro Dog title, and takes his job as lap warmer very seriously. Whether he's curled up on the couch or wedging into your arms for a nap, it's clear Dominic plans to make himself at home – right on top of you. Despite his tiny size, he believes he's a top-tier security guard, greeting newcomers with dramatic (but harmless) intensity before settling down. On walks, Dominic can be picky about greeting other dogs, but he warmed up to canine friends in his previous home after a little time. He's an enthusiastic toy collector and an even more enthusiastic napper, balancing play and rest in classic terrier fashion. Dominic is crate trained and just about fully house trained. He's microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered. He’s waiting in Greenlawn, NY for the kind of adopter who’s ready for maximum snuggles and endless neighborhood watch updates.
