About Tazmo

Tazmo lost her longtime family and landed at the rescue just in time, after life as a cherished companion. She is an 11-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Cattle Dog mix with a calm, gentle temperament and a fondness for cuddling up on the couch. For a decade, she slept in the kids’ bed and took part in every aspect of home life. Tazmo is housebroken, polite, and steady on a leash—she still lights up for simple walks but asks little beyond a loving spot to rest. She qualifies for the Senior Dog Permanent Foster Program—a special effort where the rescue helps with food and veterinary care so all she needs is a place to feel safe and loved again. Currently, she spends her days in a kennel and quietly waits for a real home. Tazmo is very affectionate and thrives on being part of a family, especially with children. She doesn’t do well with other dogs, so she’s best as your only canine companion. If you can offer Tazmo a foster or adoptive home in Palm City, FL, you’ll give a sweet senior the second chance she deserves. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
