Meet Angel Sometimes the dogs who break your heart the most are the ones who did nothing wrong. Angel is a 7-year-old local intake whose world was turned upside down when his owner passed away. Through no fault of his own, he suddenly found himself without the home, routine, and person he loved. Since arriving at Lucky Dog Refuge, Angel has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite. He's gentle, crate trained, affectionate, and loves people. He has been getting lots of attention from our team, but the truth is that Angel misses having a home. He misses the comfort of a couch, a familiar routine, and being someone's best friend. Angel has never lived with super young children, so we're looking for a home with kids 13+ that best matches the lifestyle and environment he's known throughout his life. As a rescue, we're proud to help dogs from our own Fairfield County community when families face heartbreaking circumstances like this. Angel's story is one that could happen to any of us, and we're committed to making sure he gets the second chapter he deserves.
