About Burrito
Burrito is a petite Chihuahua with a tan coat and a soft, gentle presence who weighs around 10 pounds. She’s perfectly sized for laps, curling up in sunspots, and traveling along for your daily routines. Burrito thrives around other dogs and could do well in a home where she can keep someone company or share space with canine siblings. She has recently completed heartworm treatment; as long as she stays on her monthly preventative, she should do well and can go on to enjoy a completely normal, active life. For the next several weeks post-treatment, Burrito will need to keep things calm and quiet as she finishes recovery. Burrito is looking for a steady, loving adopter who wants a loyal little companion. This sweet girl is currently fostered in the DC area. She hasn't been tested around kids or cats, but the rescue is happy to help guide you if you have either at home. Burrito is working on crate training, and adopters should be patient as she settles into a new routine. Her gentle and endearing personality really stands out, and she’s ready for a restful home where she can shine. Your new best friend is just one click away.
