About Bullseye

Bullseye is a medium-energy Pit Bull Terrier built for adventure and downtime. He does well with moderate exercise and likes to unwind next to his person once he's had his fun. Bullseye can act shy or nervous in new situations—he just needs a patient hand and some time to settle in. Staff have noticed that treats are the way to his heart and that he takes them gently. Snap on his leash and expect some pulling at first—he’s strong, and walks are a work in progress, but he’s demonstrated he knows basic commands like sit and lie down. Bullseye bonds closely with people once he’s comfortable and will roll over for belly rubs when he trusts you. While he is very people-oriented and a definite cuddler, it’s suggested that potential canine housemates meet him first to be sure everyone gets along. He’s known to be vocal at times, which could make apartments challenging. The shelter is still getting to know all his quirks, but so far Bullseye is affectionate, goofy, and loves to be around his humans. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
