About Juniper
Juniper’s story began in a difficult place, and she’s been learning to trust again ever since arriving in foster. This orange and white domestic shorthair craves attention and loves nothing more than jumping in a lap or stretching out on a chest, paws extended. She’s playful—especially with toys—and never misses a beat with her litter box. Churus treats are a favorite, and she’s easy to please with wet and dry food. Juniper is learning healthy boundaries. Because of her past, she sometimes becomes overstimulated during petting and might give a swift nip or swat, stopping well short of injury. These moments are now few, and she responds well to clear signals and patient handling, rewarding her person with longer, happier interactions every day. Juniper needs to be the only pet in a calm, adult home with no children or other animals. She’s looking for someone patient, gentle, and understanding of her paced approach to trust. In return, Juniper gives devoted companionship and daily evidence that cats can heal. Tan and white, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and vaccinated—she’s ready for her one-on-one home, indoors only, in St. Paul Park, MN. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
