About Karl

Karl’s story started out rough. He was meant to be a TNR cat, but months of slow trust-building changed all that. After accepting pets, even letting someone pick him up now and then, Karl proved he had a gentler side. When he came in for his neuter, he charmed everyone—so much so that the team decided to let him try life indoors instead of sending him back to the streets. He didn’t even hesitate. Karl ditched the outdoors as soon as he realized the perks of being a house cat: soft places to sleep, regular meals, and affection on his own terms. He settled into foster life in a day and, after a couple of weeks, spent his time soaking up head scratches, chin rubs, and teasing everyone with his ridiculous belly flops (don’t be fooled into petting it, though). Karl is about two years old, medium-sized, and wears his short gray-blue-silver coat with the ear tip that marks his past. He gets along with other cats easily and is doing fine with calm or respectful dogs, but he’d rather avoid pushy ones. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and house trained—a long way from the wary boy he once was. There’s plenty of affection and goofy energy here, just waiting for someone else to take a chance. They’ll be glad they did. Click apply to start the adoption process.
