Orion is the total package — sweet, playful, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s best friend. ❤️ ✨ Orion’s highlights: • Loves car rides and rides great in the car • Did well meeting other dogs • Likely needs a home without cats • Friendly, playful, and loves attention • Gives kisses and enjoys cuddling beside you • Knows his name and listens well • Uses the dog door and appears to already be potty trained Orion is truly a gentle soul who deserves a loving home of his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and even bigger fluffy pants, come meet him today! Dogs over five-months-old are at high risk for euthanasia because of lack of space and too many abandoned dogs in the community. Please contact CAPS if you are interested in adopting, rescuing or fostering, and we will make sure the shelter contacts you. They do not answer phones or respond often to voice messages due to understaffing. Foster homes must be in Kern County. The dogs are in Bakersfield, not Thousand Oaks. caps@caps-web.org *No phone calls, please. If you would like us to call you, please leave your phone number in an email. CAPS can arrange transportation if you are on the West Coast.
