Chickie
AvailableChickie is a 12-year-old spayed female domestic short hair cat living in Queenstown, MD. She’s a large, senior lady who is house trained and vaccinated, making her a comforting presence for those seeking a low-maintenance friend. Chickie gets along well with both cats and dogs, and although she has diabetes, it is well-managed. She would thrive in a quieter environment with caring adopters.
About Chickie
Chickie is a gentle, reserved senior who has really come out of her shell, turning into a soft and loving cat who now seeks out affection. In foster care, she relished long brushing sessions, purring when given chin scratches, back rubs, or even when her belly was gently rubbed. Playtime has become a new favorite, especially chasing a bow on a string. In her foster home, Chickie adjusted with patience to sharing space with a dog and now handles coexistence well, politely napping and allowing calm interactions. At the sanctuary, she also does fine alongside other cats but would enjoy being your one and only too. Smaller, quiet spaces and soft spots to rest are her preference. Chickie is quiet and saves her tiny meows mostly for mealtime. Born in May 2014, Chickie is a Taurus and, true to her sign, enjoys comfort and calm routines. She is in generally great health for her age but does have diabetes, managed comfortably with insulin. The rescue offers hands-on guidance with her care, so potential adopters will be supported every step of the way. If you have a peaceful home and patience, Chickie will show you deep trust and gentle devotion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
