About Elton
Elton is a six-month-old Husky mix who made the trip up from an overcrowded California shelter with his siblings. He’s an easygoing, happy pup who adapts well to new routines and environments. Elton has a medium energy level, playing hard with dogs, people, and toys, but he’s just as content lounging with you or relaxing around the house. He does especially well with other dogs and enjoys having canine pals to hang out with. Elton gets along great with kids and handles new people and public outings with friendly curiosity. He’s quietly entertaining in the car, usually napping, but makes everyone smile with his vocal yawns. Potty training is going incredibly well—he signals when he needs to go and hasn’t had an accident all week. Elton sleeps through the night, whether that’s in a kennel or snuggling on the bed. He already knows basic commands like sit, down, and kennel, and is mastering polite manners such as waiting at doors and sitting before crossing streets. He walks calmly on leash and enjoys bath time, even splashing around in the dog pool for fun. Elton isn’t a total lap dog but likes to stay close, curling up at your feet while you go about your day. If you’re searching for a friendly, social, and playful young dog who’s up for adventure and ready to learn, Elton could be your perfect match. Northern breeds like Elton often have higher exercise and training needs, so prior research or experience is recommended.
