Think problem solver. Think climber. Think “how did she get up there” kind of dog. I like to jump. I like to explore. I like to figure things out just because they’re there. If there’s a yard, I’m mapping it. If there’s a game, I’m learning it. If there’s a job, I want it. I’m smart. Really smart. The kind of smart that needs direction, not boredom. I do take a second with new people. I’ll look, think, and decide. Then I come in. Once I know you’re good, I’m affectionate, engaged, and right there with you. Belly rubs are a yes. Hugs are a yes. Being part of your world is a yes. We’re still working on leash confidence, but I’m getting better. I listen. I try. I want to understand what you’re asking. I met a cat once. I was curious, sure, but I came back when called. That’s who I am. I notice things, but I stay connected. I’m not a sit-on-the-couch-all-day dog. I’m a let ’s-go-do-something dog. Walks. Training.
