About Huck
Huck is a three-year-old, 15 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was surrendered by his previous owner through no fault of his own. Since arriving in Brooklyn, NY, Huck has adapted quickly and easily to his foster home. He loves the company of other dogs—he gets along especially well with his foster sister—and he’s shown that he’s house trained, never having an accident indoors so far. Huck is friendly and adaptable, happy to play with toys, chew on benebones, or go for long walks with his family. After some exercise, he’s content to relax next to you on the couch. Huck fits right into his environment, going with the flow and matching whatever routine his people keep. He’s equally happy as a single dog or sharing space with other dogs. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, he gets along well with children and generally seems comfortable around new folks. He has completed treatment for a past heartworm diagnosis and is doing well.
