Spooky is a beautiful 2-year-old Border Collie–Terrier mix who was found wandering the streets before making her way into rescue. Since arriving in foster care, she has been adjusting little by little to her new environment and gaining confidence each day. She absolutely loves her crate and sees it as her comforting safe space. Spooky enjoys going for walks, sniffing around, exploring outside, and chasing squirrels in the yard. She’s a very quiet girl — her foster family hasn’t even heard her bark yet! Spooky does well with other dogs and cats and would likely benefit from a patient home that understands she can be a little timid at first, especially around men. Once she feels safe, her gentle and sweet personality shines through. If you’re looking for a calm, sensitive companion with a loving heart, Spooky may be the perfect fit for your family. Spooky is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption donation will be $500. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
