About Sassy
Sassy came to the rescue as a young, feral kitten with little trust in people, needing her friend Buddy nearby to feel secure. After Buddy’s adoption, she’s slowly been finding confidence on her own. Sassy is still shy but has begun to come out of her shell—she will now ask for what she wants and enjoys watching the world go by from a window. She accepts affection but on her own terms, and her trust continues to grow with people she knows. Sassy needs a patient, understanding adopter. She’s quick to dart toward open doors, so she’ll need a secure home and careful introductions to new environments. Her food sensitivity has improved a lot, and she’s started to share space and groom other cats she likes, though she’s been slower to warm up to kittens. Sassy tends to retreat when startled but opens up when she feels safe, showing an independent but playful and loving side. She values her own space but appreciates gentle attention when she’s ready. With patience, routine, and gentle interaction, Sassy can become a loyal, wonderful companion. She is looking for someone who will celebrate her progress, respect her limits, and support her as she continues to grow more confident. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
