About Molly
Like her namesake from Harry Potter, Molly raised a big family—seven kittens—and she's finally ready for some peace and quiet. Molly has earned her rest after working so hard as a mom. She's sociable and enjoys being where people are, but she doesn't always want to be held. On some days though, she might let you cradle her like a baby. She prefers a calm environment, but she's lived comfortably with children and tolerates even a little chaos from time to time. You’ll see both her playful and relaxed sides: she wrestles with her kittens when the mood strikes but is just as content to watch them tumble while she relaxes in a tunnel. While she’s fine living with other cats—and makes herself clear when she wants her space—she adjusts well once she settles in. Her daughter, Fleur, is also looking for a home and it would be a bonus if they could stay together, but it's not a dealbreaker. Molly has not lived with dogs, though she’d likely be okay with a gentle introduction. She has done well with the foster's eight-year-old child. Molly was rescued after eluding volunteers at a managed feral colony, eventually being caught and giving birth to her last litter in foster care. She has been spayed, vaccinated including FVRCP and rabies, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, and successfully treated for ringworm by the vet.
