About Paisley
Paisley is a quiet and cautious soul who has spent her young life learning to survive on her own. Found as a stray, she’s become a reserved and independent cat at heart. These days, Paisley prefers blending into the background, seeking comfort in solitude and only emerging confidently when food appears. Human touch is not her favorite, and she’s retreated further from affection as she’s grown—rescue life simply hasn't suited her sensitive nature. Paisley has had adopters try, but none matched what she needs. She’s not looking for a traditional indoor lap cat role; she wants somewhere safer and more fitting for her temperament. A home with patient people willing to let her be herself, or a setting like a barn or farm where she can explore, observe, and control her own space, would suit her best. After a slow, secure adjustment, Paisley might even enjoy supervised outdoor access for hunting and wandering. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, current on flea prevention, and microchipped. Not every cat wants to be a cuddler—Paisley needs someone who gets that, and will respect her independence. They’re out there somewhere, ready to let Paisley be just who she is. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
