About Gaia
Gaia is a shy but playful young cat whoâs been learning to trust people day by day. Her start in life was roughâshe didnât get the safety or attention most kittens needâbut sheâs resilient and making steady progress thanks to her dedicated foster home. Even with her wariness around humans, Gaia lights up during playtime. Sheâll chase string toys, bat at springs, and tackle her favorite friend, Gwendolyn. Cat trees and sunny window sills are her favorite spots for recharging. You wonât hear Gaia begging to be held, but she will choose to stretch out next to you if sheâs feeling safe. She gets startled with sudden movements or reaching hands, so sheâll need an adopter whoâs patient and happy to let Gaia ease into things in her own time. Stability matters to her. Gaia thrives around other cats, especially Gwendolynâher best friend since kittenhoodâso sheâs best suited to a calm home with another gentle feline companion. Born July 2 (which makes Gaia a Cancerâno wonder sheâs loyal and quietly affectionate once she trusts you). Gaia is in Youngsville, NC. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Domestic short hairs like Gaia are well suited to living fully indoors. She would appreciate window views and places to perch rather than outdoor time.
