About Azul
Azul really turns heads—a hefty, plush-coated Siamese with striking blue eyes and a broad, round face that’s impossible to miss. Weighing in at around 15 lbs and somewhere between five and six years old, he’s experienced quite a transformation. Azul came from tough beginnings, found as a scrawny, flea-bitten stray near the Texas-Mexico border. Thanks to dedicated foster care, he’s made a full recovery, regrown his coat, and now thrives as an active, affectionate companion. This cat isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Despite his age, Azul still plays like a kitten, loves his toys, and seeks out laps whenever he gets a chance. He gets along beautifully with other cats—and, despite his size, he fits right in. He’s also been fine around dogs, and he’s comfortable in a busy environment with people, kids, and animals. Cuddling tops his list of favorite activities. Azul is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for FLV, and is healthy by all routine measures. He has tested positive for FIV, so he needs an indoor-only life and an adopter who knows FIV isn’t a deal-breaker. He poses no risk to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets, and FIV cats can often live long, normal lives. Azul is looking for that low-stress, attentive household where his affectionate, gentle personality can shine. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
