Meet Kassie Kassie's journey has been an incredible one. Once a feral dog who didn't know how to trust people, she has blossomed into a sweet girl who has learned that humans can be safe and kind. She has been with us for a year and has made remarkable progress, but she is still looking for that special person who will continue helping her grow. Kassie needs a gentle hand, patience, and understanding. Building trust takes time, but once she bonds with you, she is incredibly loyal and devoted. She forms deep connections with her people and loves being part of a family. One of Kassie's greatest joys is other dogs-she absolutely loves them! In fact, she gains confidence from canine companions, so she will need a confident, friendly dog in her forever home to help her feel secure and show her the ropes. A playful dog buddy would make her very happy. Kassie is athletic and energetic. She can run fast and jump high, so she will need a large, securely fenced yard with a tall fence to keep her safe. She walks on a leash and continues to gain confidence with new experiences. Her ideal home would be a quiet, low-traffic environment with a patient female adopter. Because she is still building confidence, a home without children would be best. Kassie may not be the right fit for every home, but for the person willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion.
