Hi, I'm Chloe. I've had quite the adventure getting here. At some point, I found myself behind Pittsford Plaza, far away from the comforts of home I once knew. Three very concerned humans decided they were going to help me and set a trap with food. For two whole weeks, I happily enjoyed the meals they provided... but what they didn't know was that I'm not the kind of girl who likes being trapped. Instead, I chose my own rescue story. One rainy day, I spotted one of those humans sitting quietly near a dumpster. Something told me it was time. I walked right up to her and let her take me home. Since then, I've been enjoying healthy meals, warm beds, and learning that people can be trusted again. My favorite place to be is curled up in a lap, purring away while receiving endless pets. Every now and then, if a human is doing an especially good job, I hand out a gentle kiss as a reward. I've also made it clear that I enjoy company. If you leave the room before I'm ready, I might politely let you know that I was hoping for a longer visit. Because of that, I'd love a home with someone who is around often and enjoys spending time together while I continue building my confidence and trust. These days, I enjoy soft fleecy blankets, tasty treats, and discovering how to play with toys now that I don't have to worry about staying safe outside. I take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once I feel comfortable, my loving personality shines through.
