Sammie is a sweet and spirited girl who is ready to start her next chapter with a family of her own. She has a cheerful personality, enjoys being around people, and loves discovering new things. Her gentle nature and happy outlook make her a joy to spend time with, and she's sure to bring plenty of smiles to those around her. Sammie comes from the Ironwood State Prison Dog Foster Program. This unique foster program provides meaningful connection for dogs and incarcerated men while helping prepare dogs for successful adoption. During her time in the program, Sammie had the opportunity to practice important skills such as walking on a leash, sleeping comfortably in a crate, and learning good manners. Sammie is eager to show off all she has learned and is excited to continue learning with her future family. While many of her fellow program graduates may have perfected their special tricks, Sammie likes to keep everyone humble, she's still putting the finishing touches on mastering a few of hers! She approaches every training session with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, and her future family will have fun helping her continue to build her skills. With her loving personality, beautiful chocolate coat, and strong training foundation, Sammie is ready to find a home where she can shine.
