About Jake
Meet Jake, a nearly one-year-old, 95 lb husky/terrier mix with striking blue eyes, big energy, and a lot of love to give. He’s tall, athletic, and happiest when outdoors—expect him to be tagging along on walks, hikes, car rides, or chasing sprinklers. Jake is always ready for snack time, a snuggle session, or just hanging out with his people. His start in life wasn’t the easiest; twice given up because his families grew, he’s remained open, happy, and eager to make friends. Jake is a smart, housebroken, crate-trained dog with good recall and a knack for picking up commands—he can sit and stay with the best of them. He seldom barks and gets along wonderfully with dogs and children, though his size and enthusiasm mean he does best in a home that enjoys play and activity. If you have a playful dog or an active lifestyle, Jake will fit right in. He’ll look for a committed family that won’t write him off as circumstances change. You can count on him for loyalty, laughs, and that classic dog devotion. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for his real forever. Jake is in Omaha, NE. Adoption is by application and meet-and-greet only. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
