About Bridgette
Bridgette is a gentle, laid-back Belgian Malinois mix with a twist: her DNA test says she’s also part Poodle and Yorkie, even though she has the look of a Lab. At just 41 pounds and about a year and a half old, she is impressively calm for her age. Fostered in a home with seven other dogs, Bridgette gets along with everyone and prefers to spend her days lounging anywhere that’s soft and cozy. She isn’t interested in toys except for Benebones, but she loves people and melts into affection when you pet her. Head scratches, belly rubs, and butt scritches are all met with pure Bridgette bliss. Her manners are as smooth as her coat. She’s housetrained, takes treats gently, and reacts warmly to new faces. Non-destructive and rarely barks, she doesn’t require crating—you’ll find the house untouched, unless you left food within her reach. Bridgette is great in the car and sleeps at the foot of the bed, but is easy-going if you’d rather she slept elsewhere. She could fit in well in an apartment (bonus if there’s a dog park) or a house, with a family or as a companion. Her past owners had to relocate abroad, but Bridgette’s loving nature shows she was treasured. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for her next chapter.
